    Method

    • Step-by-step Method for Clam Pizza
    • Preheat oven to 230°C (450°F).
    • Drain canned clams thoroughly and set aside.
    • Place tomato sauce in a small bowl.
    • Add minced garlic, oregano, basil, and red pepper flakes to the tomato sauce, stir to combine.
    • Thinly slice onions, mushrooms, and bell peppers.
    • Chop bacon into small pieces.
    • Grate or slice mozzarella cheese as needed.
    • Roll out pizza dough to desired thickness on a floured surface.
    • Drizzle olive oil over the pizza dough and spread evenly.
    • Spread the seasoned tomato sauce evenly onto the dough, leaving a border for the crust.
    • Evenly distribute the drained clams over the sauced dough.
    • Sprinkle mozzarella cheese over the clams and sauce.
    • Arrange sliced onions, mushrooms, and bell peppers over the cheese.
    • Distribute chopped bacon evenly across the pizza.
    • Place the pizza in the oven on a baking tray or preheated pizza stone.
    • Bake for 12–15 minutes, or until the crust is golden and the cheese is bubbling and slightly browned.
    • Remove pizza from oven and let cool for 3 minutes.
    • Finish with a drizzle of olive oil and sprinkle of fresh chopped parsley before slicing.
    • Serve immediately, optionally garnish with extra red pepper flakes or fresh basil.
    • For plating: serve slices on a wooden board or large plate, add a wedge of lemon for brightness if desired.
