Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
Add the garlic and bacon and cook until the bacon is crispy.
Add the cockles and cook for a few minutes until they open up.
Add the white wine, hard cider, and parsley and season with salt and pepper.
Cook for a few more minutes until the sauce has thickened.
Serve with crusty bread and enjoy.
