    • Crab boil seasoning (such as Old Bay)
    • Bay leaves
    • Celery
    • Onions
    • Garlic

    • Whole peppercorns
    • Mustard seeds
    • Lemon wedges
    • Beer
    • Water
    • Live crabs

    Method

    • To prepare a crab boil, bring a large pot of water to a boil.
    • Add the crab boil seasoning, bay leaves, celery, onions, garlic, cayenne pepper, peppercorns, and mustard seeds. Simmer for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
    • Add the lemon wedges and beer, and stir to combine.
    • Finally, add the live crabs to the pot and cook for 10 minutes or until the crabs are cooked through.
