    Ingredients

    • 1 lb cuttlefish, cut into 1/2 inch cubes
    • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
    • 1 teaspoon baking powder
    • 1/2 teaspoon salt
    • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
    • 1/4 teaspoon ground cumin
    • 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
    • 1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro
    • 2 cloves garlic, minced
    • 1/2 cup water
    • 1/4 cup olive oil
    • Lemon wedges, for serving

    Method

    • 1. In a medium bowl, mix together the flour, baking powder, salt, pepper, and cumin. 2. Add the parsley, cilantro, garlic, and cuttlefish cubes, and mix to combine.
    • 3. Add the water and olive oil, and mix until a thick batter forms.
    • 4. Heat a large skillet over medium heat and add enough oil to lightly coat the bottom of the pan.
    • 5. Using a spoon, drop spoonfuls of batter into the hot oil.
    • 6. Fry until golden brown and cooked through, about 3-4 minutes per side.
    • 7. Drain on paper towels and serve with lemon wedges. Enjoy!
