Mix the shrimp, olive oil, lime juice, red pepper flakes, salt and pepper together in a bowl. Marinate for 15 minutes.
Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
Add the shrimp and cook for about 3 minutes on each side, or until pink and fully cooked.
Add the garlic and cumin, cook for 1 minute. Remove from heat and serve sprinkled with red pepper flakes if desired.
Serving Suggestions: You can also serve this with flour tortillas, tortilla chips, as an omelette filling or just on its own.
