    • 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
    • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
    • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
    • 2 tablespoons sweet pickle relish
    • 1 tablespoon minced onion
    • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
    • 1/4 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
    • 1/4 teaspoon dried dill weed
    • Salt and pepper to taste

    Method

    • Begin by preparing the batter for the cod fillets. Mix the all-purpose flour, salt, pepper, garlic powder, paprika, and cayenne pepper in a shallow bowl.
    • Dip each cod fillet into the batter, and coat it thoroughly.
