    Method

    • Garlic Butter Poached Pollock: Step-by-Step Method
    • Ensure Pollock fillets are fully defrosted and pat dry with paper towels
    • Mince the garlic cloves finely and set aside
    • Chop parsley finely and set aside for garnish
    • Zest the entire lemon, reserve zest, then cut the lemon in half
    • Measure out the butter and seafood seasoning
    • In a small saucepan or deep skillet, melt the butter over low heat
    • Add minced garlic to melted butter and gently sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant (do not brown)
    • Stir in the seafood seasoning and lemon zest, combining well
    • Arrange Pollock fillets in the pan in a single layer
    • Spoon some of the garlic butter mixture over each fillet
    • Squeeze juice from half the lemon into the pan (reserve other half)
    • Cover pan with a lid, keep heat very low, and poach fillets gently for 6-8 minutes
    • Check that Pollock is opaque and flakes easily with a fork; avoid overcooking
    • Transfer fillets to warm serving plates
    • Spoon remaining garlic butter from pan over fillets
    • Squeeze additional fresh lemon juice over fish as desired
    • Garnish with chopped parsley before serving
    • Suggested serving: Pair with steamed green vegetables or a lightly dressed salad
    • For plating: Arrange fillets neatly, drizzle with butter, scatter parsley, and add thin lemon slices as visual garnish
