    • 1 lb. cuttlefish, cleaned and cut into 1-inch pieces
    • 2 tablespoons olive oil
    • 1 lemon, zested and juiced
    • 2 cloves garlic, minced
    • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
    • Salt and pepper, to taste

    Method

    • Pat dry the cut cleaned cuttlefish pieces with paper towel to remove excess moisture
    • Place cuttlefish in a bowl and add olive oil, minced garlic, lemon zest, half the lemon juice, salt, and pepper
    • Toss and coat cuttlefish evenly, then let marinate for 15–20 minutes in the refrigerator
    • Preheat grill or grill pan to high heat
    • While the cuttlefish marinates, chop the fresh parsley finely
    • Once grill is hot, brush with a little olive oil to prevent sticking
    • Thread cuttlefish pieces onto skewers for easier grilling, if desired
    • Place cuttlefish on the grill in a single layer
