    Ingredients

    • 2 tablespoons melted butter
    • 2 tablespoons honey
    • 1/2 lemon juice
    • 2 teaspoons soy sauce
    • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
    • 2 cloves garlic, minced
    • 4 inch-thick halibut steaks

    Method

    • In a small bowl, mix melted butter, honey, garlic and soy sauce.
    • Place halibut in a large Ziploc bag. Drizzle with the honey mixture and seal bag. Shake well to coat fish evenly.
    • In a small bowl mix lemon juice and pepper together.
    • Remove fish from the bag and place fish in a medium-sized saucepan. Drizzle with the lemon juice mixture and let sit for a few minutes.
    • Preheat gas grill on high heat.
    • Place fish on the grill and let it cook for 4 to 5 minutes. Flip fish and cook for 2 to 3 more minutes. The best way to test if fish is done is to peek at the bottom and see if it turns white.
    • Remove fish from the grill and carefully squeeze a wedge of lemon over the cooked filet.
    • Serving Suggestion: Serve grilled fish with a side of vegetables.
