Preheat the grill.
Cut the lobster tails open. Remember to fully thaw the lobster tails. If the meat is frozen it will be harder to cut out the lobster meat.
Rinse the lobster tail using cold water to remove any bits of shell or vein. Pat the lobster meat dry to prepare it for cooking. Remove the meat from its shell with the end attached. Place the meat to the top of the shell.
Wrap the tails of your lobster with aluminium foil to avoid burning.
Mix melted butter, garlic, thyme, pepper and salt in a bowl. Brush the mixture on to the lobster meat.
After the prep work is completed, it’s time to move to the grill to cook the lobster meat.
Grill the lobster tails for five minutes. Then, baste with the garlic thyme butter and grill for another five minutes.
Once cooked, serve immediately.
Serving Suggestions: Serve an array of side dishes for people to enjoy like baked potatoes, browned butter mashed potatoes or crispy roasted potatoes. For lighter sides, try grilled asparagus, green beans or a feta cucumber salad. Apple sauce can be a good side item that serves as a table decoration and taste enhancer.
