Grilled salmon steaks - delicate and tender salmon with garlic, herbs, light-coloured olive oil, and lemon marinade. This is the best salmon recipe and takes only 8-10 minutes on a gas grill.

  • 2 salmon steaks
  • 1 tablespoon dried Italian seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon crumbled dried thyme
  • 1 teaspoon crushed dried rosemary
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lime juice
  • Salt and pepper to taste


  • Preheat gas grill to high.

  • Place the salmon steaks in a shallow dish and season with lime juice, salt and pepper. Sprinkle Italian seasoning, dried thyme and rosemary over the steaks.

  • With a small amount of olive oil or cooking spray, coat the fish and the grill.

  • Put the steaks on the grill, then cook for 8 to 10 minutes on high, turning once.

  • Serve immediately.

  • Serving Suggestions: Serve with a risotto and vegetable side.
