    • Shrimp
    • Olive oil
    • Garlic
    • Lemon juice
    • Salt
    • Pepper
    • Paprika
    • Cumin
    • Cayenne pepper
    • Cilantro

    Method

    • How to Make Grilled Shrimp
    • Rinse the shrimp under cold water and pat dry with paper towels
    • Mince garlic finely and set aside
    • In a small bowl, combine olive oil, minced garlic, lemon juice, salt, pepper, paprika, cumin, and cayenne pepper
    • Whisk the marinade ingredients until fully blended
    • Add the shrimp to the marinade, ensuring all pieces are evenly coated
    • Cover and refrigerate the shrimp for 15–30 minutes to marinate
    • While shrimp marinates, preheat a grill or grill pan to medium-high heat
    • If using wooden skewers, soak them in water for at least 15 minutes to prevent burning
    • Thread shrimp onto skewers, ensuring they lay flat and spaced for even grilling (optional, for ease of turning)
    • Place marinated shrimp on the preheated grill
    • Grill shrimp for 2–3 minutes per side, until opaque and lightly charred
    • Transfer grilled shrimp to a serving plate
    • Sprinkle freshly chopped cilantro over the shrimp
    • Serve immediately with extra lemon wedges if desired
