    Ingredients

    • 2 trout fillets
    • 2 tablespoons butter
    • 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
    • Salt and pepper to taste
    • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
    • 1 lemon, sliced into wedges

    Method

    • Step-by-step Method for Grilled Trout with Lemon Butter
    • Pat trout fillets dry with paper towels
    • Season both sides of trout fillets with salt and pepper
    • Preheat grill to medium-high heat
    • Place lemon slices on a plate, set aside for serving
    • Chop fresh parsley finely, set aside
    • Melt butter in a small saucepan over low heat
    • Add fresh lemon juice to melted butter, stir to combine
    • Lightly oil grill grates to prevent sticking
    • Place trout fillets, skin side down, on grill
    • Grill trout for 3–4 minutes, until skin is crisp and fillet easily lifts
    • Flip fillets carefully and grill for another 2–3 minutes, until cooked through
    • Remove trout fillets from grill and transfer to serving plates
    • Spoon lemon butter sauce over hot trout fillets
    • Sprinkle chopped parsley over fish
    • Garnish plates with lemon wedges
    • Serve immediately
