    Ingredients

    • 2 pounds King Fish
    • Lemon juice or vinegar
    • Salt and black pepper to taste
    • Oil for frying

    Method

    • Place a freshly squeezed lemon juice or sprinkle the kingfish steaks with vinegar. Sprinkle salt and pepper over the fish.
    • Heat about a cup of oil in a frying pan on high heat.
    • When the oil is hot carefully slip the fish into the pan. You may have to use a flat spatula to keep the fish from breaking.
    • Fry on each side for about 3 minutes, then turn over and fry for another 3 minutes.
    • Remove excess oil by draining the fried fish steaks in a paper towel.
    • Serving Suggestions: Serve as a side dish with boiled potatoes and a good home-cooked meal.
