    Ingredients

    • 4 Trout fillets
    • 4-6 slices bacon
    • 2 tablespoons butter
    • 2 tablespoons olive oil
    • Salt and pepper to taste
    • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
    • Lemon wedges for garnish (optional)

    Method

    • To prepare Pan-Fried Trout with Bacon, begin by seasoning the trout fillets with salt and pepper. 

    • Then, cook the bacon in a skillet until it is crispy. Once the bacon is cooked, remove it from the skillet and set aside. 

    • In the same skillet, melt the butter and olive oil together. Once the butter is melted, add the trout fillets to the skillet and cook for 3-4 minutes per side, or until the trout is golden brown and cooked through. 

    • Once the trout is cooked, top it with cooked bacon and fresh parsley. Serve with lemon wedges, if desired.
