    Ingredients

    • 4 plaice fillets
    • 2 tablespoons olive oil
    • 2 cloves garlic, minced
    • Juice of 1 lemon
    • Salt and pepper to taste
    • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley (optional)

    Method

    • Begin by seasoning the plaice fillets with salt and pepper on both sides.
    • Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Once the oil is hot, add the garlic and cook until fragrant, about 1 minute.
    • Add the plaice fillets to the skillet and cook for 4 minutes per side, or until golden brown and cooked through.
    • Remove the fillets from the skillet and transfer to a serving plate. Squeeze the lemon juice over the top and garnish with chopped parsley, if desired.
