    Ingredients

    • 4 plaice fillets
    • 2 tablespoons butter, softened
    • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
    • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh chives
    • 1 tablespoon freshly squeezed lemon juice
    • Salt and freshly ground black pepper
    • Lemon wedges, for serving

    Method

    • Preheat the oven to 200°C/400°F/Gas Mark 6.
    • In a small bowl, mix together the butter, parsley, chives, lemon juice and a pinch of salt and pepper.
    • Place the plaice fillets on a baking tray and spread the butter mixture over them.
    • Bake in the oven for 15 minutes, or until the fish is cooked through and the butter is lightly golden and bubbling.
    • Serve with a wedge of lemon.
