    Ingredients

    • 1 lb. Pollock fillets
    • 1 cup wheat flour
    • 1/2 cup water
    • 2 tablespoons corn starch
    • 1 teaspoon salt
    • 1 teaspoon sugar
    • 1 teaspoon yeast
    • 1 teaspoon baking powder
    • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
    • 1/4 teaspoon spices

    Method

    • In a medium bowl, combine the wheat flour, water, corn starch, salt, sugar, yeast, baking powder, baking soda, and spices.
    • Cut the Pollock fillets into strips and coat them in the batter.
    • Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat and add enough oil to coat the bottom of the pan.
    • Fry the Pollock Fish Fingers for 3-4 minutes per side, or until golden brown and crispy.
    • Remove the Pollock Fish Fingers from the skillet and drain on a paper towel-lined plate.
