    Ingredients

    • 1 lb jumbo shrimp, peeled and deveined
    • 2 tablespoons olive oil
    • 2 cloves garlic, minced
    • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes
    • 1/4 cup dry white wine
    • 1/2 cup heavy cream
    • 1/2 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
    • 1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
    • 1/4 teaspoon salt
    • 2 tablespoons freshly chopped parsley
    • 1/2 teaspoon lemon juice
    • 2 tablespoons butter

    Method

    • Peel and devein the 1 lb jumbo shrimp if not already prepared, pat dry
    • Finely mince 2 cloves garlic, chop 2 tablespoons parsley, and freshly grate 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese
    • Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat, add 2 tablespoons olive oil
    • Once oil is shimmering, add shrimp in a single layer and sear for 1–2 minutes per side until just opaque, then transfer shrimp to a plate
    • In the same skillet, add 2 tablespoons butter on medium heat and let it melt
    • Add the minced garlic and 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes, sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant
    • Pour in 1/4 cup dry white wine, stir and let reduce by half, about 1–2 minutes
    • Lower heat to medium-low and add 1/2 cup heavy cream, stir and bring just to a gentle simmer
    • Gradually add in the grated Parmesan, stirring until melted and sauce thickens slightly
    • Season with 1/4 teaspoon salt and 1/4 teaspoon black pepper, taste and adjust seasoning if needed
    • Return the cooked shrimp along with any juices back to the pan, tossing to coat in sauce
    • Stir in 1/2 teaspoon fresh lemon juice and half of the chopped parsley
    • Simmer 1–2 minutes until shrimp are heated through and sauce coats them well
    • Plate shrimp and sauce on a warm serving platter or over your choice of cooked pasta, zoodles, or vegetables
    • Garnish with remaining chopped parsley, extra Parmesan, and a squeeze of fresh lemon if desired
    • Serve immediately, pairing with crusty bread or a green salad for balance
