    Ingredients

    • 1 lb jumbo shrimp, peeled and deveined
    • 2 tablespoons olive oil
    • 2 cloves garlic, minced
    • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes
    • 1/4 cup dry white wine
    • 1/2 cup heavy cream
    • 1/2 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
    • 1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
    • 1/4 teaspoon salt
    • 2 tablespoons freshly chopped parsley
    • 1/2 teaspoon lemon juice
    • 2 tablespoons butter

    Method

    • To prepare Scampi with Creamy Alfredo Sauce, begin by heating the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. 
    • Add the garlic and red pepper flakes and cook for 1 minute. 
    • Then add the shrimp and cook for 2-3 minutes, until just cooked through. 
    • Add the white wine and simmer for 1 minute. 
    • Then add the heavy cream, Parmesan cheese, black pepper, salt, parsley, and lemon juice. Simmer for 3-4 minutes, until the sauce has thickened. 
    • Finally, add the butter and stir until melted. Serve the scampi with the creamy Alfredo sauce over your favourite pasta. Enjoy!
