    Ingredients

    • 4 sea bass fillets
    • 2 tablespoons butter, melted
    • 2 cloves garlic, minced
    • 2 tablespoons fresh basil, chopped
    • Salt and pepper to taste
    • 2 tablespoons olive oil
    • Lemon wedges for serving (optional)

    Method

    • To prepare sea bass with basil-garlic butter, begin by seasoning the fish with salt and pepper.
    • Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
    • When the oil is hot, add the sea bass fillets and cook for 3-4 minutes per side, or until the fish is cooked through and golden brown. Transfer the cooked fish to a plate and set aside.
    • In the same skillet, add the butter and melt over medium-low heat. Add the garlic and basil and cook for 1-2 minutes, stirring frequently.
    • Pour the garlic-basil butter over the cooked sea bass and serve with lemon wedges, if desired.
