    Ingredients

    • 2 8-oz. skin-on sea bass fillets
    • 2 tablespoons olive oil
    • 2 tablespoons prepared pesto
    • Salt and freshly ground black pepper
    • 2 tablespoons freshly squeezed lemon juice
    • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley (optional)

    Method

    • To prepare sea bass with pesto, begin by preheating the oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit. 
    • Then, season the fish with salt and pepper. 
    • Next, heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. 
    • Once the oil is hot, add the sea bass fillets to the skillet and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side, or until lightly browned. 
    • Transfer the fish to a baking dish and top each fillet with a spoonful of pesto. Squeeze the lemon juice over the top and sprinkle with parsley, if desired. 
    • Bake in the preheated oven for 8-10 minutes, or until the fish is cooked through. Serve immediately.
