    Ingredients

    • 2 lb. frozen mixed seafood
    • 4 tablespoons melted butter
    • 1 teaspoon salt
    • 1 tablespoon minced garlic
    • 1 teaspoon paprika
    • 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes
    • 1/2 small lemon and chopped parsley

    Method

    • Step-by-Step Method: Seafood Sauté
    • Thaw the 2 lb. frozen mixed seafood by placing it in a colander under cold running water or in the refrigerator overnight
    • Pat the seafood dry thoroughly with paper towels to remove excess moisture
    • Heat a large sauté pan over medium-high heat until hot
    • Add 4 tablespoons melted butter to the pan and swirl to coat evenly
    • Add 1 tablespoon minced garlic to the pan and sauté for 30 seconds, stirring constantly to avoid burning
    • Sprinkle in 1 teaspoon paprika and 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes, stirring to bloom the spices for 15 seconds
    • Add the dried mixed seafood to the pan in an even layer; avoid overcrowding
    • Season immediately with 1 teaspoon salt
    • Sauté the seafood, stirring occasionally, for 3–4 minutes until just opaque and cooked through
    • Squeeze juice from 1/2 small lemon over the seafood and toss gently to combine
    • Remove from heat; taste and adjust salt or lemon as needed
    • Arrange seafood onto a warm serving platter or shallow bowl
    • Sprinkle chopped parsley generously over the top for freshness and color
    • Serve immediately with extra lemon wedges on the side
    • Suggest plating with a light salad or crusty bread for an elegant presentation
