    Cooking baby squid is easy, it is fast, and it tastes yummy. It’s appreciated by many.

    Ingredients

    • 500g baby squid
    • Spring onions
    • 1 red onion
    • 1 green chilli, deseed, chopped
    • Salt and crushed black pepper to taste
    • 1 teaspoon turmeric powder
    • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
    • Olive oil for stir-frying

    Method

    • Slice the baby squid into rings and set them aside.
    • Slice up the spring onion, and red onion.
    • In a wok/pan, add 1 tablespoon oil and saute onion. till it softens. Adding a little salt to taste.
    • Add the sliced baby squids and stir fry. Add in water if required.
    • Pour in 1 teaspoon each of turmeric, black pepper, lemon juice. Pour more oil if required.
    • Add chilli. Cover and cook for a minute.
    • Remove from heat and add chopped spring onions.
    • Serving Suggestions: Serve with rice and extra lemon wedges.
