    Ingredients

    • 1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
    • 2 tablespoons olive oil
    • 2 cloves garlic, minced
    • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
    • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
    • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
    • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
    • 1 teaspoon onion powder
    • 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
    • 1/2 teaspoon salt
    • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
    • 1/4 cup white wine
    • 2 tablespoons freshly squeezed lemon juice
    • 2 tablespoons butter
    • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley, for garnish
    • 1 lemon, cut into wedges, for garnish

    Method

    • Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat to prepare Cajun Shrimp Scampi
    • Add the garlic and cook for 1 minute, stirring frequently. 
    • Add the shrimp and the spices and cook for 3-4 minutes, stirring occasionally. 
    • Add the white wine and lemon juice and stir to combine. 
    • Add the butter and stir until melted. 
    • Serve the shrimp over a bed of cooked rice or pasta garnished with fresh parsley and lemon wedges.
