    Ingredients

    • 1 lb. large shrimp, peeled and deveined
    • 3 cloves garlic, minced
    • 4 tablespoons butter
    • 2 tablespoons olive oil
    • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes
    • 1/4 teaspoon salt
    • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
    • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
    • 1/4 cup white wine or chicken broth
    • Lemon wedges for garnish (optional)

    Method

    • Heat the butter and olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat to make garlic butter shrimp. 
    • Add the garlic and cook for 1 minute, stirring constantly. 
    • Add the shrimp and season with red pepper flakes, salt, and black pepper. Cook for 2-3 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the shrimp is cooked. 
    • Add the parsley, white wine, or chicken broth and cook for another minute. 
    • Serve with lemon wedges, if desired.
