    Ingredients

    • 2 mullet filets
    • 1 tablespoon olive oil
    • 1/2 teaspoon salt
    • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
    • 1 large ripe mango, diced
    • 1 large ripe avocado, diced
    • 1/2 red onion, diced
    • 1/4 cup fresh cilantro, chopped
    • 1 jalapeno, seeded and diced
    • 2 tablespoons lime juice
    • 1/2 teaspoon salt

    Method

    • Begin by preparing the salsa. Combine the diced mango, avocado, red onion, cilantro, jalapeno, lime juice, and salt in a medium bowl. Stir until all ingredients are evenly combined. Cover the bowl and refrigerate until ready to serve.

    • Next, season the mullet filets with salt and pepper.

    • Heat a grill or grill pan over medium heat.

    • Brush the filets with olive oil and place them on the preheated grill. Cook for 5 minutes per side or until the filets are cooked through.

    • When the filets are cooked, remove them from the grill and serve with the chilled avocado-mango salsa. Enjoy!
