It's also a great way to add seafood to your weekly meal plan. Grilled shrimp is a healthy option that is low in calories and fat and high in protein. It is also packed with essential vitamins and minerals.

    Ingredients

    • Shrimp
    • Olive oil
    • Garlic
    • Lemon juice
    • Salt
    • Pepper
    • Paprika
    • Cumin
    • Cayenne pepper
    • Cilantro

    Method

    • To prepare grilled shrimp, start by marinating the shrimp. In a large bowl, combine olive oil, garlic, lemon juice, salt, pepper, paprika, cumin and cayenne pepper. 

    • Add the shrimp and toss until all of the ingredients are evenly distributed. Cover the bowl and let the shrimp marinate for at least 30 minutes. 

    • Once the shrimp has marinated, thread it onto skewers and place them on a preheated grill. 

    • Grill the shrimp for 3-4 minutes per side or until cooked through. 

    • Serve the grilled shrimp with a sprinkle of cilantro and a side of your favourite vegetables.
