Preheat a large skillet over medium heat and add the olive oil.
Season the halibut fillets with salt and pepper and add them to the skillet.
Cook the halibut for 4-5 minutes on each side, or until cooked through.
Add the white wine, capers, oregano, thyme, and garlic powder to the skillet.
Reduce the heat to low and simmer for 5 minutes or until the sauce has reduced and the halibut is cooked through.
Serve the halibut with lemon wedges and enjoy!
