    Ingredients

    • 1/4 cup honey
    • 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
    • 1 tablespoon olive oil
    • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
    • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
    • Salt and pepper, to taste
    • 4 (6-ounce) salmon fillets
    • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley, for garnish (optional)

    Method

    • Honey Mustard Salmon — Step-by-Step Method
    • Preheat oven to 200°C (400°F)
    • Line a baking tray with parchment paper
    • In small bowl, whisk together honey and Dijon mustard
    • Add olive oil, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper to bowl
    • Whisk mixture until fully emulsified and smooth
    • Place salmon fillets, skin-side down, on prepared tray
    • Spoon or brush honey mustard mixture evenly over each salmon fillet
    • Reserve about 2 teaspoons of mixture for final glaze
    • Bake salmon for 10–13 minutes, depending on thickness, until just opaque
    • In last 2 minutes of cooking, brush salmon with reserved honey mustard mixture
    • Remove salmon from oven and rest for 2 minutes
    • Chop fresh parsley while salmon rests
    • Transfer cooked salmon fillets to serving plates
    • Sprinkle chopped fresh parsley over each fillet for garnish (optional)
    • Serve immediately with steamed vegetables, greens, or roasted potatoes as desired
    • Present fillets slightly overlapping, drizzle extra sauce from tray if desired
    • Enjoy immediately for optimal flavor and texture
