    Method

    • How to Make Oysters Mignonette
    • Chill oysters on ice to ensure maximum freshness and safety
    • Finely mince shallots and set aside
    • In a small bowl, combine white wine vinegar and minced shallots
    • Add freshly ground black pepper to the vinegar-shallot mixture
    • Stir in chopped fresh parsley
    • Add freshly squeezed lemon juice if using (optional step)
    • Let the mignonette sauce sit in the refrigerator for at least 15 minutes to allow flavors to meld
    • When ready to serve, carefully shuck oysters, keeping the oyster liquor intact
    • Arrange oysters on a large platter over crushed ice for visual appeal and food safety
