    Ingredients

    • 2 salmon steaks, about 6oz each and 1/2 inch thick
    • 1/2 teaspoon salt
    • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
    • 1/2 teaspoon dried sage
    • 1 tablespoon unsalted butter
    • Freshly chopped parsley, for serving

    Method

    • Rinse salmon under cold water and pat dry.
    • Mix seasonings together and rub into the flesh of the salmon.
    • Melt butter in a nonstick pan.
    • Cook the salmon thoroughly on both sides.
    • Garnish with parsley before serving.
    • Serving Suggestions: Serve with a baked potato, broccoli and orange juice for dinner.
