    Ingredients

    • 4 (6-ounce) red snapper fillets
    • 2 tablespoons olive oil
    • 2 tablespoons freshly squeezed lemon juice
    • 2 tablespoons freshly squeezed orange juice
    • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
    • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh chives
    • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh dill
    • 2 cloves garlic, minced
    • Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
    • 2 tablespoons butter

    Method

    • Step-by-Step Method for Red Snapper with Citrus and Herb Sauce
    • Preheat oven to 200°C (400°F) and line a baking tray with parchment paper
    • Pat red snapper fillets dry with paper towels
    • Season both sides of each fillet with salt and black pepper
    • Drizzle 1 tablespoon olive oil over the fillets and rub gently to coat
    • Place fillets, skin-side down, on the lined baking tray
    • In a small bowl, combine lemon juice, orange juice, parsley, chives, dill, and minced garlic
    • Add the remaining 1 tablespoon olive oil to the citrus and herb mixture and stir well
    • Dot 2 tablespoons butter, cut into smaller pieces, evenly over the fillets
    • Spoon half of the citrus and herb sauce evenly over the fillets
    • Bake in the preheated oven for 12-14 minutes, until fish is opaque and flakes easily with a fork
    • While baking, reserve the remaining citrus and herb sauce at room temperature
    • When fillets are done, remove from oven and rest for 1-2 minutes
    • Plate each fillet attractively, spoon remaining fresh citrus and herb sauce on top
    • Garnish with extra fresh herbs if available
    • Serve immediately, ideally with a light side such as steamed vegetables or a crisp salad
