    • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes
    • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
    • 2 tablespoons butter

    Method

    • Pat mullet fillets dry with paper towels
    • Season both sides of fillets with salt and black pepper
    • Set a large nonstick skillet over medium-high heat
    • Add olive oil to the skillet
