To prepare sea bass with pesto, begin by preheating the oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit.
Then, season the fish with salt and pepper.
Next, heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
Once the oil is hot, add the sea bass fillets to the skillet and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side, or until lightly browned.
Transfer the fish to a baking dish and top each fillet with a spoonful of pesto. Squeeze the lemon juice over the top and sprinkle with parsley, if desired.
Bake in the preheated oven for 8-10 minutes, or until the fish is cooked through. Serve immediately.
