    • 2 cups quick-cooking grits
    • 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
    • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley, for garnish

    Method

    • 1. Begin by melting the butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
    • 2. Add the flour and stir until the mixture is smooth and bubbly.
    • 3. Slowly add the chicken broth and milk, stirring constantly.
