    Ingredients

    • 1/2 lb. bay scallops
    • 1/4 cup butter, melted
    • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
    • 1/4 cup fine dry breadcrumbs
    • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
    • 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
    • 1/4 teaspoon paprika
    • 1/4 teaspoon dried oregano
    • Salt and pepper, to taste
    • Lemon wedges, for garnish

    Method

    • Preheat oven to 375°F.
    • Rinse the scallops and pat dry with a paper towel.
    • Place the scallops in a shallow baking dish.
    • In a small bowl, combine the melted butter, Parmesan cheese, breadcrumbs, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, oregano, salt, and pepper.
    • Sprinkle the Parmesan-breadcrumb mixture over the scallops.
    • Bake in preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until golden brown and the scallops are cooked through.
    • Serve with lemon wedges, if desired.
