Salmon is one of the most common seafood in the United Kingdom. More specifically, salmon is high in moisture, the same protein content, but low in fat. While there are some white-fleshed wild salmon, the flesh of most salmon is orange to pink.
Salmon is a good source of omega-3 fatty acids, vitamin B12, phosphorus, and potassium and a good source of vitamin D. Many commercial salmon are farmed. We sell this raw, whole, boneless, and skin-on Scottish salmon. This is a farm-raised product. Salmon fillet is good for several occasions, such as parties, but may also preserve the fish or smoked salmon.
What Does Salmon Taste Like?
Salmon has a powerful flavour eruption in the mouth. If you dislike the smell of seafood, don’t worry; you’ll love the smell of salmon. Most people say the salmon tastes better than other varieties of seafood. Although salmon does indeed have a flavour of the ocean, it is also savoury instead of salty.
The flavour of salmon is light and refreshing. Bear in mind, though, that the flavour of the fish can vary based on how it is cooked.
This Scottish salmon, which is responsibly sourced, has good omega-3 content and a huge impact on our health.
Before it hits our inventory, we spend a lot of time ensuring that all salmon follow our stringent environmental and welfare standards.
