A more interesting take on the classic British fishcake, with the South-East-Asian aromatics that lift the natural sweetness of the crab.

How to cook

  • Oven: 200°C for 18–20 minutes from frozen, turning halfway.
  • Deep-fry: 180°C for 4–5 minutes from defrosted.
  • Air fryer: 190°C for 12–14 minutes from frozen.
  • Shallow-fry: medium-high in oil for 3 minutes per side.

Serve with sweet chilli, lime-mayo or a coriander-lime salsa. Pair with a chilled Riesling or a dry sparkling wine to balance the cayenne.
