  • 400g cooked prawns in shells
  • 2 anchovy fillets from a can
  • 1 red chilli
  • 4 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 1 Little Gem lettuce
  • Lemon wedges and crusty bread, to serve


  • Divide the prawns among two glass tumblers.

  • Chop the anchovies. Cut in half, then seed the chilli, finely chop the flesh.

  • Combine the mayonnaise with the anchovies and chilli; divide between two dishes.

  • Chop lettuce into wedges and serve the pint of prawns with the mayonnaise dressing.

  • Serving Suggestions: Serve with crusty bread, lemon wedges and a nice beer.
