  • 10 pcs whole shell-on large prawns
  • 6 cloves garlic, finely chopped
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 1 lemon
  • Salt and pepper to taste


  • Heat the butter in a pot, reduce heat, add garlic, and stir until golden, takes about 30 seconds.

  • Add the prawns and cook until just done, for about 3 minutes when it becomes pinkish.

  • Season with salt and pepper, then, place in serving platters.

  • Serving Suggestions: Squeeze lemon to your taste and serve immediately with cooked, mashed potatoes or over hot steamed rice.
